Sublime Sunday...

In aesthetics, the sublime (from the Latin sublīmis) is the quality of greatness, whether physical, moral, intellectual, metaphysical, aesthetic, spiritual or artistic...

  Ha ha.

This Sunday, Sublime - in the artistic sense I suppose -  is the word of the day.  I will finish typing Her Dark Baron today!  I will also attempt to write 2K in my NaNo project, but I'm not promising anything there...Ha!  By Monday evening, my beta readers will be highlighting away in OO, finding my typos, my errors, my plot holes, or whatever it is that I need to handle.  I'm excited!

For those of you who regularly read my blog, you'll know how giddy I really am.  Typing this novella has been a task I've struggled to complete!  I had to wrestle with myself to sit down and force my fingers put the words into the computer. There was always something more interesting to capture my attention, like reading a book, outlining for NaNo, writing for NaNo, or visiting around to fellow writers' blogs'.  At last, I will shout - "It's Complete!"

12 Days of Christmas Reading...   Photobucket
...10 December - 22 December, 2011

12 Days of Christmas Reading  is coming up!  Don't forget to add the button to your side bar (we appreciate all your encouragement and support!) to help promote the success of fellow Round of Words  and many other writers.  Cheer them on, and stop by from 10 December - 22 December to enter for a chance to win!  There will be a giveaway on each of the 12 days!  How easy is that?

There's still time to add your book to the list, too!  Email either myself or J.R. Pearse Nelson to hop on board!

~ Nadja

  3. You must be so excited!! I know you've been trying to get that typed for awhile now. I'm sure you'll manage to type and work on NaNo...especially with sublime being the word of the day. Good luck with today and the rest of the week!

  4. Thanks, ladies! I am excited.
And full of fun?...Ohhh, I hope so, Alberta.

Lauren, I cannot access your blog/webpage. Every time I go to independent films, I get a warning that script on your page is causing my browser to run slow and may make it unresponsive. I'm not sure why...but didn't want you to think I'd forgotten about you.

I see your NaNo word counts are tooling right along! Great job.

  5. thanks for comment on trailer - it was those words causing the confusion - did you find it so - did you understand?

  6. Yeah! So glad to hear you'll finish your typing today. I know it's been driving you bananas. Time to celebrate!! (I'll crack a cold one in your honor over my gumbo this evening. And it'll be a delicious cold one, because I live in Oregon -- the land of much rain and very good beer. Ha!)

Have a great coming week and all the best for the final push to the finish line in NaNo :)

  9. Yay! That is so exciting! Congrats all around. It's an amazing feeling to finally step back and say, "Look at that. It's done." You better part and celebrate this milestone. We all know it doesn't mean the work is finished, but it's now more of a butterfly than a caterpillar. Good work. You've done very well. Congrats again!

  10. There is nothing like the feeling of finishing a Nano project and kudos to you for getting close to that finish line!
Good luck on the last 10 days!!

  11. So far so good on the reading of the novella. I know what you mean about self-torture: typing a really lot amount of words!

  12. How exciting!! I love it when you reach the point where you say, "done." At least until you have to pick it back up and start editing!!

And I don't know if you got my email or not, but I'm totally in for the 12 Days of Christmas!!
