One of my favorite Christmas songs is 'Belleau Wood' by Garth Brooks. The power of a song can touch every heart, especially at the holidays- even in a war zone.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! I'm not familiar with that song. I'll have to google it! My personal favorite is 'We Three Kings'...I think ... I love all Christmas songs...<3
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas song of ALL TIME is Carol of the Bells! I just love it!! And I also agree with Kbelden, I LOVE Belleau Wood as well, Garth Brooks is my favorite artist! Its a very touching song! Gives me chills! I hope you have a VERY Blessed Christmas!!!
ReplyDeleteOh! That is a good one, Mama Lee.
ReplyDeleteA Happy Christmas to you, too!
You guys are putting me in the Christmas mood! My favorite is Little Drummer Boy -- I have to stop and daydream every time I hear it, it is so powerful. A very merry Christmas to all!!
ReplyDeleteI have a few favorite Christmas songs, not just one. Some of them are Polish carols but I also adore Jingle Bells, Rudolph, and The Village of Saint Bernardette :-)
ReplyDeleteI created a Christmas music channel on my Pandora radio today... It was so nice to have Christmas music playing in the background while I baked. It really gets me in the mood for the holiday!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Angela for stopping by today ;}
Enter the Broads in your giveaway! We love books!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas song is 'The Holly and the Ivy'.
Just to let you know, not all of the photos are showing. I cannot see three of them.
I can see them all now. It must take awhile for them all to load. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteYou're entered, ladies!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. I have had issues today with the images. I've removed them and re-added them in, so I hope all is fixed now.
I like Snoopy's Christmas. I never feel it's Christmas time until I hear this song.
ReplyDeleteOh Nadja, I can't name just one. I was a soprano in elementary school before my voice changed, and I loved having the solo for Oh, Holy Night. I was the only one who could hit the high note; ha, now I couldn't hit it with the help of a ladder!
ReplyDeleteI do love Angels We Have Heard on High, too, again, because of the Glo-o-o-o-ria that slides down the scale.
I love almost all the old carols, and a lot of newer ones. See, I can't stop!

ReplyDeleteJoy to the World is another favorite...
So excited about the possibility of free books! My favourite 'pop' Christmas song has to be Mariah Carey 'All I want for Christmas is you' and my favourite carol? I think it might be silent night. So peaceful and lovely.

Everyone is entered to win! Good luck!
My favorite Christmas song in White Christmas. After every play I did in high school closed, we'd go around to the directors' houses and sing it while we TP'd their yard. (They expected it!) It just makes me happy.
ReplyDeleteI guess my favorite Christmas song is White Christmas too. I love to hear either Elvis or Bing Crosby sing it the best. (Although the video of Santa and the Reindeer singing it that went around a few years ago was priceless...heehee).
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas song is "In the Deep Midwinter" (this rendition by Gloucester Cathedral Choir gives me goosebumps, so lovely: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRobryliBLQ )

My favorite song is Angela Lansbury singing " We Need a Little Christmas." It happened to be one song on a collection I bought for our first Christmas (19 years ago) and I'd never heard it before. But now, it's not Christmas until I hear it!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite song is Nat King Cole's "Christmas Song". I grew up in NYC and have memories of the chestnut vendors.; The song brings me back to cold nights on Herald Square smelling the roasting chestnuts. AM ramblingwitham.blogspot.com alanamautone@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas song changes every day, but today it's Oh Holy Night, simply because it's beautiful. :-)
ReplyDeleteI hope this competition is open to foreigners.
